Okay, as far as I know they're like the animals you see here, except they've got more power than your cats and dogs. There's different kinds and I'm not going to list them out for you, so use that imagination of yours. [ Even though it's dangerous. ] And yeah, people can keep them as pets -- but for trainers like me, they're more than that.
And if you think any of my guys are going to do tricks for you, you've got another thing coming. [ No amazing Green Team tricks for you, Ayano. ] But there's other trainers here, so find them and ask. Maybe one of them knows how to juggle -- try a girl called Mei.

[ Pidgeot makes an indignant noise at that, flapping his wings before lowering to continue pecking at the food. Whatever you. ] Sure, you feed your gut. See how well you fly later.
Battles? That sounds fun, and it's a combination of both you and your Pokemon's skills, right?
[ She smiles, giggling as Pidgeot finishes the last of the feed in her hand and she moves to pet the top of his head. Who's a good big bird, who's a good big biiiiird ]
I'm sure with your training, he could be in tip-top shape after a few handfuls of feed! You look like you know what you're doing when it comes to training him.
Right. You got it. [ You know what, Pidgeot likes you. He'll even coo a little quietly for you and give you permission to bug his trainer more. If he lets you. Also, said trainer is rolling his eyes at his Pidgeot. ]
